This year, the annual Conference of faith of the Word of Life church was held in the Istropolis cinema. The cinema hall was filled to the last place during evening meetings. We estimate that the April 3-day conference was attended by about 600 people in total.

The main guest of the conference was this time Rani Sebastian, missionary from Malaysia. Despite her high age (75) she seemed and acted very lively and fresh. She travelled almost the whole world and still has a unique relationship with the Holy Spirit. And her meetings were just about that relationship. Experiences from the mission field and her ministry it culminated in a prayer service at which she flowed in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Several people have been supernaturally healed, to some she also had a prophetic word.

Moms with the smallest children and those who came later highly praised the fact that they could watch the conference on the screen in the foyer at the entrance of cinema hall. During each worship service we’ve had an interesting program for children in three different age groups. For example, on Saturday afternoon, children played a theatre about the king Mushroom.

Another preacher, whom we invited, was Åke Carlson, a teacher of God's word from Sweden, who suitably complemented Rani with his gifts. His systematic teaching is easy to remember, moreover, he had a prophetic word for the church on Sunday morning.

We are very pleased that Miro Toth from Košice again visited us with the with the Third Day band, our Word of Life P&W team ministered to us together with the ZOE Christian Chamber Orchestra on Saturday evening. What a wonderful presence of God was in that place! Evening was even more enriched by the performances of Marieta Fupšová and opera singer Katka Krčmárová.
